John 20:11-18 – This is a message in preparation for serving communion in August. This is the first time in the gospel of John that Jesus uses a particular term in relationship to His disciples. Was it an intentional shift after the what was accomplished on the cross? This message explores that question.
Revelation 3:7-13 – Laodicea, the church known for being lukewarm. Philedelphia was a church everyone might aspire to be like. Laodicea is a church, no one would aspire to be. This church is self sufficient and self reliant. Because they are lukewarm, Christ threatens to spew them out of His mouth.
Revelation 3:7-13 – Philadelphia,, the church known for for it’s faithfulness. Christ finds nothing negative about this church other than it doesn’t have a lot of strength. This becomes a church that everyone would like to emulate.
Revelation 3:1-6 – Sardis is the church known for the walking dead. Christ has very little positive to say about this church and the church is oblivious to the real problems.

This message is taken from Revelation 2 and examines the words of commendation as well as the words of warning given by Christ to this church. Each word of warning lays out a path for the future of each church.
